What So Not
What So Not is a group comprised of Flume, the King of Music, who actually makes the best music ever, and Emoh Instead — his friend I guess. They are both from Australia and are adding to the growing legacy of the musicians down south (Dirty South, Tommy Trash, Flume…). I actually had both of these original songs before I found the remixes and all four songs are actually spectacular. The two originals are so creative and interesting, I love them both. What So Not gets on the tracks and makes each one a different, yet equally great song.
Van She – Idea of Happiness. This song is just great. I would classify it as EDM Alternative. It really is amazing you have to listen to it to understand. Even if you love it the first time you hear it (like I did) it gets even better with each listen.
Here is the video for this song, it is really strange. But I like it a lot for some reason I don’t know why, I have a secret special connection to it or something…
Van She – Idea of Happiness (What So Not remix). Damn. What So Not’s remix to this song is so good, I love it just as much as the original. I can’t even describe it or classify it under a genre, Flume and Emoh are just too good. Wow wow wow…..
Get Free – Major Lazer ft. Amber. This is my favorite song the Major Lazer has put out. I don’t really like Diplo at all, he kind of pisses me off. But I respect his production talent and it shines through on this track. It is really interesting, unlike regular electronic music, I’d put it under EDM Alternative again.
Get Free – Major Lazer ft. Amber (What So Not Remix). FREE DOWNLOAD!!!! The What So Not remix of this song is better than the original in my opinion. They make the track more club oriented and I like it. And the part at 1:15 is straight filth, it would bang at any party. Check this remix out and download it!!!!
